Abstract

—An antenna is a device capable of capturing and transmitting electromagnetic waves through free space. The fractal geometry applied in antenna designs allows us to obtain devices with reduced dimensions and multiband behavior. The proposed antenna array design was aided by Ansoft Designer TM . The fractal antennas array was constructed and powered by the microstrip transmission line technique (TLM). Subsequently, the array had its scattering parameters measured with a vector network analyzer model N5230A. A discussion of the simulated and measured results was presented and discussed, presenting a good agreement between them
