Abstract
We design semiconductor-based two-dimensional photonic crystals that can support topological helical edge states below the light line. We numerically demonstrate that the edge states can guide light robustly in the waveguide even with sharp bends. The structure will be a new platform for topological nanophotonic waveguides with no radiation loss.
