Tribalismos digitais afrocentrados: Streamings, documentários e protagonismos de bichas pretas

Abstract

: This article seeks to explain the media environment as a possible healing space for black fags, who create repertoires and produce other meanings about themselves. It aims to debate the mediatized daily life of black fags as a dispute for protagonism and mitigation of a racist and homophobic imaginary. Essay, the work reflects on three biographical documentaries (“Além de Preto, Viado”, “Afronte” and “Bicha Preta”), available in streaming. The hypothesis is that such narratives and images embody modes of resistance operations; digital uprisings, which use rapid media diffusion to affect hearts and minds and crack excluding regimes of visibility.
