Exact analytical expression for the system outage probability (OP) is derived and evaluated. The derived OP expression considers two practical energy harvesting techniques, namely, time switching-based relaying (TSR) and power splitting-based relaying (PSR). Some numerical examples are provided to study the overall system performance under different system parameters, such as fading parameters, energy harvesting time, power splitting factor, and signal-to-noise ratio (SNR). Abstract
