Abstract

We present a multiformalism approach combining knowledge structure and intelligent cooperation, to formalize cooperative information systems. The underlying architecture encourages formalism and tool interoperability. The basic building block is the knowledge base society, specified by the modeling-unit model. Cooperation is managed by an intelligent control, by means of meta knowledge and specific problem solving strategies. Communication relies on service delimitation from internal structure.
