Abstract
The article discusses the shortcomings in providing fire protection for the breathing fittings of ground tanks at oil and oil products storage and pro-cessing facilities. A set of measures for their protection is proposed, the im-plementation of which will reduce the economic and environmental conse-quences of a fire at such facilities.
