Little is known by way of research of potential online legal issues in the tourism industry of Macao, this paper attempts to supplement the limited existing work. The 5-star grouping of hotels in Macao is more able or willing to achieve the desired level of legal protection within their websites whereas the 3-star grouping of hotels has much more ground to cover. Abstract
