Abstract
The article attempts to find answers to the following questions: 1) what kind of law is spoken about when the question of legal understanding is raised; 2) does any meaning of the concept of law allow to form a legal understanding; 3) is it possible and should we develop an understanding of law in general, as a kind of generalizing, universal in relation to different forms, types, types and contexts of law?
