The study was mainly based on the students’ perspectives. The study sample included 1552 student distributed among eight Saudi universities and the used questionnaire consisted of 28 statements. In order to analyze the data, frequencies, percentages, arithmetic mean, Chi-square test and t-test were used. It was found that social media websites have the strongest impact on students' awareness of the ethics of using cyberspace and the effect of peers ranked second in the force of impact. Moreover, the role of universities in educating students of literary colleges was the most prominent compared to their role in scientific colleges.
