Abstract

The present article reads about the problem of mercury-containing wastes, their collection and disposal in the urban district of Dubna, Moscow Region. Such waste belong to hazard class I waste and, if improperly handled, poses a threat to environmental pollution and public health. Currently, the collection of such wastes from the population has not been established, therefore, proposals for organizing a collection and disposal system are very relevant. The paper presents a scheme for the disposal of such waste, as well as the volume of waste lamps generated by the city population was estimates and resources that can be involved in secondary circulation were calculated.
