Abstract

A membrane phased array antenna consists of an array antenna and miniaturized transmit/receive (T/R) module is investigated for GEO SAR application. The radiation pattern of the array antenna is analyzed with finite element method (FEM). The T/R module with compact size and light weight is designed and developed. Based on these research, a prototype of the $1 \times 4$ element phased array is designed, fabricated and measured.
