Abstract
The authors focus on the evaluation of the Erlang capacity for hybrid FDMA/CDMA systems supporting voice and data services with two channel allocation schemes; the independent carrier channel assignment (ICCA) scheme and the combined carrier channel assignment (CCCA) scheme. As a result, the CCCA scheme shows considerable Erlang capacity improvement with an increase of carriers of hybrid FDMA/CDMA.
