Abstract

The performance of multicode multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) systems in the presence of frequency selective fading is evaluated. It is shown that the multiantenna interference is asymptotically Gaussian. The probability of error is derived for the conventional RAKE receiver and its performance is compared to a linear equalizer for various processing gains, path delays, and antenna configurations.
