Abstract

The paper proposes a new tool for the integration of management systems and business performance, called Resilient and Sustainability Function Deployment - RSFD. It is an evolution of the traditional and well known tool: Quality Function Deployment-QFD. The main goal is a unique view of all key factors based on Resilience and Sustainability considerations, able to highlights the main points of weakness in an organization and to suggest possible actions of improving. Thanks to the proposed tool a company can become more SMART, meaning “intelligent” and able to understand and react quickly in difficult situations.
