In order to simulate mechanical loading of a mechanism with mechanical characteristics of radial type and with the properties of torque constancy, the systems of electric generator load control are proposed. Applying of a special generator control cascade scheme provides the constancy of load torque in the change of angular speed in range from zero to the maximum value. Abstract

This paper deals with an overview of the designs and load control systems of test devices for experimental researches of low power electric drives based on permanent magnet brushless machines. The designs of test devices used for testing standard motors and stationary systems with minimal mechanical losses are considered. In order to simulate mechanical loading of a mechanism with mechanical characteristics of radial type and with the properties of torque constancy, the systems of electric generator load control are proposed.
