The determination of the 3D Impulse Response of Antenna (IRA) is performed starting from measured data. Using the Matrix Pencil method, we establish a compact model of the antenna. A new criterion is introduced to determine the minimal number of characteristic poles, this poles are determined in a particular direction and applied to 3D gain reconstruction. Abstract
This paper presents an application of the Matrix Pencil (MP) method to modelize UWB exponential Tapered Slot Antenna (ETSA) radiation performances.
