Abstract

Work productivity in the stamping station in Batik Merak Manis Laweyan is one of the key components to the business continuity. Using ergonomics checkpoints with results validated through a Focus Group Discussion, hand tools and machine safety was identified as the major area for production process improvement. This research aims to improve the production process by designing ergonomic work facilities.
