Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of socialization, persuasion, and involvement on investment interest in capital market. Object of this study were the students of accounting in Universitas Muhammadiyah Riau. The sampling method uses purposive sampling and the number of samples that meet the criteria were 70 students. This study uses multiple linear regression to test the hypothesis. The results of this study indicate that socialization and involvement have significant effect on investment interest in capital market. But, this study did not find significant effect between persuasion and investment interest. The findings of this study provide contribution in practice that the students investment interests in capital market should be provided understanding through socialization and involvement about the investment.

本研究旨在探讨社会化、说服和参与对资本市场投资兴趣的影响。本研究的对象是廖内穆罕默德大学会计学专业的学生。抽样方法采用有目的抽样,符合标准的样本数为70名学生。本研究采用多元线性回归对假设进行检验。研究结果表明,社会化和参与性对资本市场投资兴趣有显著影响。但是,本研究并未发现说服与投资兴趣之间存在显著影响。本研究的研究结果在实践上有一定的贡献,即应通过对投资的社会化和参与,让学生对资本市场的投资兴趣有所了解。
