From the mechanical muse to the electronic muse: A media archeology on Peruvian poetry

Abstract

This research aims to show how the work of rescue and remediation of the corpus of Peruvian electronic poetry raises the need for a methodology that, based on data clusters and their connections through links, allows to recognize the non-linear relationships that underlie the works of Peruvian authors who experimented with analog and electronic media during the 20th century. To do this, we propose a methodology that integrates data visualization with genealogical research. The importance of this project lies in the fact that the proposed methodology to analyze the works is an innovation in the field of literature.
