Abstract

In this paper, the method of combining Vague sets and rough set theory is proposed to the problem of "sharp boundary" in traditional discretization technology. The concept of Vague equivalence relation is given, and a model of rough sets under Vague equivalence relation is established. Based on the model, positive domain, true dependence degree, and false dependence degree are defined. The attribute reduction algorithm based on vague rough sets is analyzed in detail, and the applicability of the algorithm is verified with examples.
