The first part of the paper focuses on the design of the modulation codes. The second part introduces a field test where a single line of 3D data was acquired using three two-string sources. This field test provides real data for testing current and future implementations of the seismic apparition method. In this paper we present initial separation results obtained after minimal pre-processing of the recorded data.
