Abstract
Randomized Response Technique(RRT) is an extremely powerful technique of obtaining sensitive information which cannot be otherwise obtained. In this note we explain the technique is simple terms using elementary probability theory. Both the Warner's model and the Simmon's model of RRT for obtaining sensitive attribute data are discussed. A brief discussion on obtaining sensitive quantitative information is also included.
