Initially, the scattering problem of multilayer is solved analytically considering a full tensor to model the sheet impedance of an ideal metasurface wrapped around the object to be cloaked. Then, unlike conventional capacitive patch metasurface, an optimized capacitive rectangular patch metasurface is designed to suppress both co- and cross-polarization scattered fields. Moreover, to enhance the cloaking bandwidth a double layer mantle is introduced and it is shown that nearly 33%cloaking the bandwidth is achieved. Abstract

In this paper, the possibility of cloaking metallic cylinders for a wide range of incident angles and wide bandwidth of obliquely incidence plane wave using well-known Mantle cloaking technique. Initially, the scattering problem of multilayer is solved analytically considering a full tensor to model the sheet impedance of an ideal metasurface wrapped around the object to be cloaked.
