Abstract

VIRAM (vector intelligent random access memory) is a vector architecture processor with embedded memory, designed for portable multimedia processing devices. Its vector processing capability results in high performance multimedia processing, while embedded DRAM technology provides high memory bandwidth with low energy consumption.
