Abstract
The FAIR Principles have succeeded to unit stakeholders world-wide behind a common concept: good data management under common standards. However, putting FAIR into practice is still work in progress and it "takes a village". I will provide an overview of two community-driven resources, the FAIRsharing (https://fairsharing.org) and the FAIR Cookbook (https://faircookbook.elixir-europe.org), as examples of what we need to turn FAIR into reality.
