This method proposes the frequency regulation of island power systems with voltage-dependent loads. The improvement in stability can be achieved through rapid temporary increase of generator excitation. In this method, the IEEE type 1 exciter is employed. A multi machine system with two generators and a load is modelled and then the frequency is analyzed before and after the fault condition. Abstract
