Abstract
Carcinoid syndrome is a rare systemic disorder attributed to the release of vasoactive amines and peptides into the systemic circulation. We present the case of a sick 47 year old lady with known metastatic carcinoid deposits who required urgent laparotomy for an intra-abdominal perforation.
