Abstract

An ultra-compact star-coupler based 1×10 power splitter is proposed in this paper. By introducing nano-pixel structures with direct binary search algorithm, an excess loss and channel-power non-uniformity less than -0.21 dB and 0.22 dB are obtained, with an improvement of 0.3 dB and 5.4 dB.
