Abstract

Security is a major concern for granting protected communication among mobile nodes in an unfavorable environment. Wireless Ad Hoc can be vulnerable against attacks through malicious nodes. Thus, each node must be prepared to deal with both direct and indirect attacks. Hence, this study investigates in assessing the effect of eavesdropping attacks on Mobile Ad Hoc network systems (MANET's) using QualNet simulator.
