Abstract

The article presents the results of the application of computer vision in the study of processes associated with Brownian motion, that is, the chaotic movement of elements of microsystems. If the particles are visible by electron-optical devices and are distinguishable against the general background, then thanks to video surveillance and subsequent frame-by-frame video processing by computer vision methods, it is possible to determine the kinematic parameters of the observed particles at different points in time.
