Abstract

Urbanization development information is an important factor in the spatiotemporal evolution of human activities. It is of great significance to grasp the dynamic information timely of long time series urbanization in a large spatial scale for policy-making of urbanization development. In this paper, a method based on extracting the city center of gravity and speed of development based on nighttime light remote sensing data (Defense Meteorological Satellite Program's Operational Line-scan System (DMSP-OLS) and Visible Infrared Imaging Radiometer Suite Day/Night Band (VIIRS-DNB)) from 1992 to 2018 is proposed to reveal the law of urban development, which has been used in Yangtze river economic belt successfully. 城市化发展信息是人类活动时空演变的重要因素。及时掌握大空间尺度下长时间序列城市化的动态信息,对城市化发展的决策具有重要意义。本文提出了一种基于1992 - 2018年夜间光遥感数据(国防气象卫星计划运行线扫描系统(DMSP-OLS)和可见光红外成像辐射计组件日/夜波段(VIIRS-DNB))提取城市中心和发展速度的方法,揭示城市发展规律,并在长江经济带成功应用。研究结果表明,利用夜间灯光遥感数据可以为城市化发展的科学管理和规划提供理论依据和技术支持。
