Abstract

A high-speed infrared imaging data acquisition and transmission system based on FPGA and USB3.0 technology is designed. FPGA is used to control the uncooled infrared sensor and image acquisition, and the imaging data is transmitted to PC in real-time through the USB3.0 interface. Cyclone IV series chips from Altera are used as the main controlling system. Cypress’s USB3.0 full protocol chip CYUSB3014 serves as the high-speed communication bridge between FPGA and PC.
