Abstract

Aiming at the weld pool over melted phenomenon when the welding speed is too slow, the weld pool image segmentation based on Chan-Vese (CV) model with Fuzzy C-Means (FCM) is proposed. Based on the contour extraction of the weld pool image under different welding speeds, the Roundness characteristic parameter is proposed to describe the phenomenon of weld pool over melted. The results show that the FCM-CV algorithm eliminates the problem that the CV model is sensitive to the initial contour, and the FCM-CV algorithm can extract the contours of the weld pool under different technological conditions with good adaptability and stability. 针对焊接速度过慢时出现的熔池过熔现象,提出了基于模糊c均值(FCM)的Chan-Vese (CV)模型的熔池图像分割方法。在提取不同焊接速度下熔池图像轮廓的基础上,提出了描述熔池过熔现象的圆度特征参数。结果表明,FCM-CV算法消除了CV模型对初始轮廓敏感的问题,FCM-CV算法能够在不同工艺条件下提取焊缝熔池轮廓,具有良好的适应性和稳定性。圆度较好地反映了不同焊接速度下的焊池特征,当圆度大于0.9时,能较好地描述焊池过熔现象。
