Abstract

The non-linear electric load causes a distortion with inside the output of sine waveforms which leads to supply contemporary voltage. It leads to overheat the equipments and from time to time produces fault occurrence. This project focuses at the layout and alertness of three-section shunt active power filter (SAPF) via way of means of the usage of d-q concept to mitigate the eurhythmic that are created via way of means of nonlinear loads. To obtain results, the MATLAB / SIMULINK is utilize as a simulation tool. It is widely used in the application of power electronics.
