Abstract

In a power system, fast voltage recovery plays an important role to keep the distributed generator (DG) connected to the system. Specially, it is more challenging in an industrial microgrid, where there is a large number of motors operating simultaneously. In this regard, placement of dynamic VAR sources can facilitate faster voltage recovery under post-fault scenarios.
