The antenna is composed of compact square microstrip patch antenna elements with series feed. The character of high gain origins from the configuration of the microstrip antenna arrays, and the character of low side-lobe is obtained by Taylor synthesis method. The validity of the method is confirmed by computer simulation and experiments.
