Abstract

Prophylactic administration of Piroxicam (Feldene), a reversible inhibitor of prostaglandin biosynthesis, significantly reduced the occurrence of paralytic signs and the amount of antibodies against myelin basic protein in the model of mild acute experimental allergic encephalomyelitis in the Lewis rat.
