This paper shows a diligent analysis of various protection schemes associated with AC microgrid as well as DC microgrid. Abstract

Integration of distributed generation (DG) with existing utility grid develops as an evolving power network which is ecumenically addresses several issues such as extinction of fossil fuel, reliability on clean energy, effect on environment due to convention method of power generation. Due to these issues concept of microgrid has been initiated. Microgrid consists of distributed generators, energy storage and system and some loads.
