Abstract

This article uses the Internet of Things and Data Analytics for interpreting and forecasting wind and wind turbine data, along with understanding the structure and functioning of conventional wind turbines. Using Simulink, a small-scale wind turbine is designed. Open- source wind data is used for time series analysis and forecasting. To apply and test the simulations, a hardware prototype is built.
