A controlled rectifier utilizing MOSFET switches converts the 3-phase-input AC power to a regulated 400 V DC supply. The switching scheme ensures that the input current waveforms are sinusoidal. Abstract
A 200 A rectifier has been specifically designed to power telephone switching equipment.
