Abstract

The crucible weighing method has been successfully employed to reduce diameter fluctuations of oxide crystals pulled by the CZ technique. All the growth process, including the diameter of the growing crystal, is computer-controlled. A new algorithm for Automatic Diameter Control (ADC) is developed, and a software program written in Labview-6.1(NI) is described in detail.
