Abstract

A set of optical signal data generated by shadow moire interferometry represents the profile of the surface that is under investigation. An existing algorithm has been used to process and visualize the optical signal into the three dimensional surface plot and a two-dimensional representation for a cantilever. This algorithm was tested and calibrated by measuring a cylinder surface profile and comparing the result with the actual measurement.
