Abstract
Given the rapid proliferation of PTAs the aim of this text is to assess the impact of PTAs on excluded countries, with special reference to potential EU-India FTA. Such an analysis helps to identify the scope and impact of PTAs on excluded countries. The article will attempt to determine and suggest some policy measures that excluded countries can take in order minimise economic impact, if any.
