Abstract

The article presents an attempt to consider the leading methods and means of developing the digital competence of schoolchildren in the context of the digitalization of language education. It is noted that the most important component of teaching foreign languages ​​is the connection of the taught discipline with reality. In the era of digital technologies, ICT competence, digital competence, digital literacy, media literacy, Internet literacy, which need to be developed in order to more effectively solve the tasks set by schoolchildren, become integral competencies.
