Abstract

objective of this paper is to compensate the reactive power in transmission line using proposed PI control technique in the D-statcom. D-Statcom is basically shunt compensator device used for lagging and leading reactive power compensation. Here D-statcom in two level inverter. In this paper design and implementation of D-statcom VSC based are done and compared the result under different loading condition with controller and without controller.
