Automated Analysis of Social Network Groups in Reproductive Behavior

Abstract

Together with objective demographic factors, the future population will be influenced indirectly by other cultural issues. The main cultural factors which influence the population are social norms that regulate marital, reproductive and parental behavior. Now determinants such as the Internet have appeared along with technological progress. Thus, internet communities devoted to the various “reproductive ideologies” are of interest. Here we report the analysis of the largest of these societies in the Vkontakte.com social network. The main result of this study is a “map” of these societies and the evaluation of the features of the automated analysis of the social networks.
