Abstract

Growing interest in renewable energy sources has proliferated the installation of residential solar PV systems all over India, with support from the government in the form of subsidies. The Indian government plans to achieve 450GW of solar energy by 2030. This requires implementing battery energy storage systems (BESS) for grid and load management.
