Abstract
Almost all the Turks living in Switzerland belong to the Moslem faith. According to the teachings of the Koran, the nucleus of human society is a patriarchal extended family in which the roles, tasks, and duties of the individual members are very precisely set down according to sex, sexual maturity, and current age.
