Abstract

Presents a medical image computing system which has been designed to extract and analyze quantitative information from a spatial sequence of CT (computed tomography) images. In particular, it has been applied to the quantitation and 3D reconstruction of the diffuse pattern of a radio-opaque anti-cancer drug, lipiodol-doxorubicin, in hepatocellular carcinoma.
