PERAN IBRĀHĪM AL-KŪRĀNĪ DALAM PENGEMBANGAN ISLAM DI NUSANTARA

Abstract

The development of Islam in the Indonesian archipelago (Nusantara) can not be separated from the scholars who have studied at the center of Islamic civilization in the Middle East, especially in the two holy cities of Makka and Medina. This article discusses one of the scholars who became the scholarly reference of students from the archipelago while studying at Haramayn, namely Ibrāhīm Al-Kūrānī. Although Ibrāhīm Al-Kūrānī never directly preached in the archipelago, but his disciples who came from the archipelago teach his teachings by sourced from the books of his work. The teachings of Ibrāhīm Al-Kūrānī which emphasize the importance of the understanding of Ilmu Hakikat, Ilmu Tariqat, and Ilmu Syari‟at are still firmly held by the majority of Muslims today.
